Origination Insite
Through a programme of workshops and via the website, this project reflected the experience of Britain's incoming cultures.

Providing a contemporary picture of multicultural Britain through the creation of personal websites
- 300 people took part in the national programme of workshops encouraging hard-to-reach audiences to build personal websites

This project enabled users throughout the country to create websites that uncovered and communicated their cultural heritage and the relationship that they have with England. Participants were invited to add their own stories and objects to those provided by museums, galleries, libraries and science centres.
Through free local workshops, and via the website, participants learned about website design, structure and content. The workshops were designed to be accessible to various different groups and ages.
