BETT Award success for Culture Online project
Stagework, a Culture Online project with the National Theatre, has been named winner of the BETT Award in the English Key Stage 3 and 4 category.
www.stagework.org.uk, which provides privileged behind-the-scenes access to the wonderful world of the theatre, has already won a clutch of awards including two BAFTA interactives and a UN World Summit Award in the e-learning category.
Mike Greenwood, commissioning executive at Culture Online, said "There appears to be no stopping Stagework. Its rich mix of audio, video and compelling content is a real winner. It seems to have achieved the coveted hat trick: teachers, pupils and judges love it! In many ways it's typical of all Culture Online projects: we put the user experience first. If it works well for them, we're happy."
Stagework was produced for the National Theatre by Illumina Digital.
Culture Online projects have now picked up a dozen top industry awards.
